A dry red wine made from the indigenous Sangiovese grape variety. Gran Selezione is the highest quality category of Chianti Classico wines, higher than Riserva, as the selection of grapes is even more restrictive. They must come from one specific vineyard, which is a kind of “Chateau” among all the wines produced by this producer. The essence of the Castello Fonterutoli vineyard located in Castellina in Chianti. The 8 best clones of this noble grape variety and a careful vinification process combined with aging in large French oak tonneaux barrels for 18 months result in a powerfully structured wine that delights with its finesse and elegance. A score of 95/96 on the Parker and Suckling scale is an additional recommendation.

A dry red wine made from the indigenous Sangiovese grape variety blended with Merlot in equal proportions. Among all Super Tuscans, this one is definitely in a class of its own. The Siepi vineyard is the oldest of all the family's estates, dating back to 1435. Picturesquely situated at an altitude of 260 meters, surrounded by oak forest, it has a unique microclimate ensured by unlimited sunshine and temperature differences between day and night. In the 1980s, it was decided to plant Merlot here, and the combination of Merlot and Sangiovese in equal proportions was an absolute innovation. That is why Siepi belongs to the elite group of 50 wines that have completely changed the Italian style of winemaking.
Merlot is aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels, 70% of which are new, while Sangiovese is aged in large tonneaux barrels, 70% of which are also new. Perfect balance, incredible power, and delightful complexity make up this wonderful wine. The 2022 vintage is the thirtieth edition of Siepi, each of which has been rated highly by the most renowned wine authorities. A wine for collectors and special occasions.

A dry red wine made from an indigenous grape variety from Abruzzo called Montepulciano. If you are looking for wines that are low in tannins yet rich in structure and aroma on the Italian wine map, Montepulciano is an excellent choice. In addition, Uma Casa Natura is a producer that offers only wines from organic cultivation in its range. Carefully managed vineyards and a minimum of chemical additives result in very good wines, which, as the producer rightly declares, should be drunk in moderation because they are addictive.

Warm, consistent and strong, this is a wonderful Montepulciano from the hilly vineyards around Teramo.

Aroma: complex, rich, with notes of cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, liquorice and pepper.

A dry white wine made from a grape variety originating in Abruzzo called Pecorino. This picturesque region, located in the middle of the Apennine Peninsula, produces excellent wines, including white Pecorino, thanks to its mountainous and maritime climate. In fact, it is native to the neighbouring Marche region, but it has also become well established here. The name most likely comes from the Italian word „pecora” - sheep, because the pastures were adjacent to the vineyards. Pecorino is one of the most interesting Italian white wines, characterised by good structure, low acidity, rich aromas and flavour.

    Color: shiny straw yellow.
Aroma: complex, notes of jasmine, honey, sage and citrus.
    Flavor: crisp, mineral.
Food matching: excellent with fish, including raw fish, shellfish, risotto and white meat dishes.

A dry rosé wine made from an indigenous grape variety from Abruzzo called Montepulciano. While the two previous wines are powerful in colour and structure, their pink „brother” nicely but more delicately echoes them in its aroma. What is delightful, however, is the ease with which it can be enjoyed. It is a pity that pink wines are so underappreciated by Polish consumers, because they can be truly fantastic in terms of quality. In Italy, the names Cerasuolo, Chiaretto and Kretzer always refer to rosé wines, the first from the Montepulciano grape variety, the second a blend of grapes used to make Bardolino, and the third the Lagrein variety from Alto Adige. These wines are usually reliable in terms of quality. In addition to the pleasure of tasting, there are also many possibilities for pairing rosé wines with food, from appetisers to light meat-based dishes and, of course, fish, and they are certainly an alternative to white wine.

Montepulciano „rosé” is truly addictive and tastes delicious at any time of the day or year.

    Color: shiny pink.
Aroma: complex, fresh, notes of cherries, strawberries, wild strawberries, almonds.
    Flavor: crisp, mineral, fruity.
Food matching: excellent as an aperitif, with starters, fish-based dishes, pizza, delicate cheeses.
