Rainoldi Aldo Srl - a family wine producer in Lombardy, the region called Valtellina. The company is located in the heart of the picturesque and mountainous Valtellina - in the town of Chiuro.

Valtellina is also the name of the wine, appearing on the labels of the manufacturer.

The company was founded by Rainoldi Aldo, Aldo‘s grandfather, a young oenologist managing the company today, which in 1925 decided to take up viticulture.

The experience he gained in trade relations with neighboring Switzerland, has helped him create a solid winemaking company prospering up to today. In the seventies, there was the strong growth of the winery and the wines from the terraced vineyards of Valtellina won the recognition of many customers. They are the result primarily of careful, hard and laborious work in the vineyard.

The tradition of making elegant wines from a single strain, characteristic of the region, the Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca in the local dialect) is here transferred from father to son. The finest wine in the range is a Sforzato di Valtellina, strong, structured, elegant and clean.     A dry pink sparkling wine made of native Valtelina grapes, Nebbiolo, Pignola, Rossola.
