A dry red wine made from the indigenous Sangiovese grape variety blended with Merlot. Poggio Badiola is a tiny, ancient (990 AD) Romanesque chapel located on a picturesque hill surrounded by vineyards. Although the term „everyday” does not apply to the Super Tuscan category, in this case it is entirely appropriate because this wine is not only for cigars and special occasions. Excellent, very carefully crafted, it has been aged for ten months in American oak barrels. James Suckling described it as ‘a contemporary wine that perfectly combines the aristocracy of Chianti Classico with the frivolity of Super Tuscan’. An accurate definition that should be supplemented with a reasonable price-quality ratio.

A dry red wine made from the indigenous Tuscan Ciliegiolo grape variety. While Tuscany is associated with the ubiquitous Sangiovese, which produces elegant and powerful wines, there are also oenological “gems” such as Ciliegiolo. Known since Etruscan times, it thrives in the sunny vineyards of the Tuscan coast. The name of this grape variety is associated with “ciliegia” – Italian for cherry, and indeed, the first sip of wine brings to mind crisp, juicy summer cherries. It is incredibly pleasant, appealing with its beautiful color and delicacy. Unaged in wood, Ciliegiolo goes very well with many dishes, while for those who break with convention, it is recommended as an accompaniment to fish, mainly tuna, and even seafood salads.

It comes from the family's historic vineyards around Fonterutoli Castle. It is the precise result of combining grapes from 114 different small plots, located at an altitude of 220 to 570 meters above sea level, characterized by a unique pedoclimatic diversity (soil and climate). Barolo Cannubi

A dry wine made from native Piedmont grape Nebbiolo, with Lampia and Michet varieties. Cannubi is one of the most famous appellations of Barolo. Virna has there a small vineyard which gives this great wine. The quality of wines from this zone is the result of two different soils, that is grey-blueish loams, marls rich in calcium compounds (formed between 10 and 7 million years BC), yellowish sandstones (so called sandstones from Diano formed 9 million years BC) and layers of grey sand alternated. Cannubi has great potential and elegance, for which is praised by experts of Barolo. A long and careful making of Barolo from Cannubi consist in ageing for 18 months in French oak casks and 6 months in the bottle. Finesse, harmony and noble origin, all this Cannubi has.

It is common on the entire territory of Sardinia, while the best areas for its cultivation are located along the coast of the isle. Don Efisio is the name of a historic owner of fish ponds in Cabras. The Monica gives the wine with rich aroma notes, balanced acidity and good structure.

Hard to pronounce the word, Quendernjan, is an albanian for the lower part of Maschito, where are located vineyards yielding Aglianico’s grapes. This pink version of Basiclicata’s great wine is a well-structured, aromatic wine, strong and fine at the same time. Unique in taste, pleasantly mineral, with notes of ripe raspberry and pomegranate, gently almond in the finish. You’ll willingly reach another glass. Properly cooled it tastes best with light appetizers. Excellent with veal scallops.

Etna Rosso

A dry red wine made from native Sicily grapes, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappucino. It comes from vineyards situated between 650 and 750 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Etna volcano. The volcanic soil, on which grapes thrive, rich in minerals and lava, make the wines from the Etna DOC zone are characterized by rich aromas and unique delicateness. This wine was aged for 8 months in wood, in small French oak barrels - barriques, and then in large casks. A special selection of grapes originating from a vineyard called Fondo Filara.
