    Dry red wine made from the autochthonous Grignolino grape of Piedmont. The dialect name grignole means grape seeds and refers to the lightness of the wine and the distinctive pale red color. Wine traditionally associated with Piedmont and very popular among its residents. Italian wine expert, Luigi Veronelli, wrote of it as an anarchic wine, as the Grignolino grape is difficult to grow, responding to changing weather conditions. Its advantage is the richness of aromas and good structure, some vintages highlight their advantages after maturing a few years in the bottle. It is also a wine not aged in wood, so it retains its originality and vitality.

    Aroma: fruity notes of cherry, pomegranate, raspberry.
    Flavor: slightly tannic, with a delicate hint of bitter.

    A dry red wine of the native Piedmontese Nebbiolo grape. It is a refined version of Barbaresco from the Montestefano vineyard, because Riserva is made only in the best years. Certainly the year 2006 belongs to them, as for Piemonte is qualified as an elegant, hence the choice of the manufacturer to make a wine with enhanced flavor values and strong structure. The Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano was aged in large barrels for 36 months and then in the bottle. This is a very elegant wine with deep red brilliant color that with age presents orange hues.

Ca Vegar is the local dialect for the name of the estate, Cantina Castelnuovo del Garda.The Superiore style indicates a higher alcohol content.     A dry red wine made from native Sicily grapes, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappucino. It comes from vineyards situated between 650 and 750 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the Etna volcano. The volcanic soil, on which grapes thrive, rich in minerals and lava, make the wines from the Etna DOC zone are characterized by rich aromas and unique delicateness. This wine was aged for 8 months in wood, in small French oak barrels - barriques, and then in large casks. A special selection of grapes originating from a vineyard called Fondo Filara.

    A dry red wine from the Cabernet Sauvignon. This French grape well naturalized in eastern Veneto, here doesn‘t give great and structured wines. They are light, soft, tannic and gently fruity exactly like Ornella‘s Cabernet. This carefully worked out wine with intense color, not aged in wood, goes well with meat roasts.

    Dry red wine, Nebbiolo strain. This is a wine of the Valtellina variety in Sfursat version, coming from a special selection of grapes and produced only for the best vintages. This wine is very strong and elegant. The grapes were subjected to the process of drying in special rooms, properly ventilated, so-called Fruttaio. These Fruttaio of our producer is called Ca Rizzieri and is located at an altitude of 500 m above sea level. With a few months of drying the grapes and maturing the wine for 15 months in French oak barrels, and for over a year in the bottle, Sfursat takes excellent structure and harmony. The wine is the best product in the range of our producer Aldo Rainoldi. It is also the result of passion and commitment to the quality of the great wines of the Valtellina produced by him. Fruttatio Ca ‘Rizzieri is a wine for special occasions, also a meditation after the meal.

    Aroma: intense, complex, spicy notes of cocoa, roasted nuts, dried grapes.
    Flavor: warm, velvety and harmonious.

    Dry red wine of the indigenous Venetian grapes, Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Corvinone. This is the kind of a Valpolicella Classico Superiore called Ripasso. The Italian term means a special vinification technique, involving the fermentation on Valpolicella grapes, which were used in the production of Amarone, the most precious wines of Valpolicella belonging to the species. This process continues for about 15 days, after which the wine is subjected to aging in wooden casks for over a year. Ripasso wine is strongly built and elegant.

    Dry red wine from the native Venetian grapes, Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Corvinone. It is a kind of Valpolicella Classico Superiore called Amarone. The name of the famous great Venetian wine refers to the adjective amaro, the Italian for bitter - the taste which in no way relates to the wine. The name assigned only to distinguish it from Recioto wine, a version of sweet Valpolicella. The production technique of Amarone involves drying of carefully selected ripe grapes, which after the harvest are kept in air-conditioned rooms for about 120 days. These grapes are placed on special nets and after such a long time the sugar content they accumulated reaches its maximum. Then follows the phase of wine fermentation and aging in wood for over two years. Amarone is a wonderful, long-lived wine. It should be saved for special occasions and enjoyed as a wine for meditation.

    Color: intense dark garnet.

    Aroma: intense, aromatic, notes of fruit in alcohol, sweet spices.

    Flavor: warm, velvety.

    Food matching: dishes based on meat, roast meat, game, seasoned cheeses.

    Serving temperature: 20°C. The bottle should be opened at least one hour before serving.
