A dry red wine from the native Tuscan grapes Sangiovese and Colorino with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. The most representative wine in the range of our producer. It’s, above all, a tribute to Murtas Terzuoli, managing the winery Fatoria San Michele for many years. Apart from cantiniere, the function of Murtas Terzuoli, this wine is to thank all workers of the estate for building up company’s reputation. Sangiovese comes from Fattoria’s best vineyards, Colorino from an very old vineyard that still yields excellent grapes, while Cabernet Sauvignon from a new yielding a lot. The grapes rest on the fruit trees for a little longer period comparing with the ‘normal’ harvest, therefore concentrate more sugars. Each variety is subjected individually to the process of fermentation, after which Sangiovese ages in 2500 -litre oak tonneaux, while Colorino and Cabernet in new barriques.
