Dry red wine from Piedmont‘s native Barbera d’Alba grapes produced in the Alba zone. In relation to the ordinary Barbera, this version of wine, as the name suggests, was subjected to aging in small French oak barrels - barrique for almost a year. Therefore, its structure is stronger and definitely enhances the typical notes of toasted wood and spices such as cocoa. It is characterized by a strong ruby color, intense aroma and deep strong taste. This wine is full-bodied, velvety and harmonious.

Dry red wine of Campanian native grape variety called Aglianico. This wine named Barolo of the south not without reason is compared to the great wine of Piedmont. Aglianico is an ancient grape, naturalized in the south part of Italy since centuries. It was introduced here by the Greeks, and received its name from the word Elleanico. Aglianico of our producer comes from vineyards situated in the hill areas in the surroundings of Castelvenere, in the province of Benevento, in the north-eastern part of the region. The local clone of this grape is called Aglianico del Taburno and is characterized by the best quality among the grape family of Aglianico. The volcanic and sandy soils and big temperature differences between day and night are suitable for its growing. Such vinegrowing conditions are provided in the Sannio zone. The local Aglianico is ripe at the end of October and the harvest is done during November. It is a wine with a big potential for ageing. With time enhances its values and broadens an array of aromas. Aglianico del Sannio was aged for six months in wood barrels and for the following six months in the bottle.

Dry red wine of the autochthonous Barbera d‘Asti of Piedmont. This is another variety of Barbera in our range of wine from Asti region, historically regarded as the kingdom of Barbera, where its grapes give optimum results. Sori in the Piedmontese dialect means the highest and most sunny parts of the hills, the best vineyards. Mori is the term describing Saracens, with whom the inhabitants of the village of Vinchio waged struggle in the Middle Ages, so the Sori dei Mori means Saracens Hills. This wine is young and fresh, vinified only in steel tanks, not aged in wood.

A dry red wine of Montepulciano di Abruzzo grape. The documentary evidence of this variety dates from the XVIII century. Besides the Sangiovese it is one of the most popular red varieties in Central Italy. The Colline Teramane subzone, Italian for the hills around Teramo, was granted the DOCG status in 2003 and the quality or the wines from here is obtained thanks to the favorable microclimate and vicinity to the Adriatic Sea. An excellent 2007 vintage made it possible to create an equally good riserva made from a careful selection of grapes, full-bodied and extremely fruity. It was aged in wood and for a few months in the bottle.

A dry red wine made from Negroamaro grapes with a small addition of Merlot. It comes from the zone of Salento, from the vineyards located in the surroundings of Lecce. The small addition of Merlot makes the wine pleasantly soft and with an intense fruitiness of Negroamaro. Not aged in wood.

A dry red wine from the native Tuscan grape Sangiovese with the addition of Syrah. Tenuta La Gabbiola is the name of a vineyard where the grapes are grown organically using the minimum of chemicals. Clayey-sandy soils yield ripe grapes of Sangiovese and Syrah with a big aromatic potential. The harvest is done manually, after more than ten days of fermentation the young wine goes to 2500 litre oak casks, where it matures for more than one year. After such ageing the wine develops the whole wealth of aromas and flavors of excellent Chianti Classico maintaining the balance between delicate hints of wood and fresh fruit. Very good.

Dry white wine made from native Sardinia grape Vermentino.
There are perfect growing conditions on the isle for the grape that prefers a sea climate. It originated in the western coast of the Bay of Oristano. The name Benas is the Sardinian dialect for veins, as for wine indicating rather subterranean springs, from which bursts crystal clear water.
The Vermentino of Oristano is a well-structured wine of beautiful shimmering colour with a subtle aroma note.

Food matching: goes best with sea food spaghetti, shrimps and crustaceans, asparagus risotto, fish-based dishes.

A dry red wine made from native Piedmont grape Nebbiolo, from Lampia and Michet varieties. Originating from Virna’s best vineyards: La Preda and Cannubi Boschis from around Barolo, Cerviano Merli and Sottocastello di Novello near the town Novello. Riserva is made only for best vintages, which can guarantee longevity of wine, and the year 2010 certainly was one of the best. Careful selection of grapes and long processing of this wine consist in its ageing. First the wine from single vineyards matures in big Slovenian oak casks and French oak tonneaux of 300 to 500 liters. After that 3000 liters of wine is selected to combine with the wine coming from single crus, and such blend ages for next 12 to18 months in a barrel of 3000 liters. This way is obtained an outstanding Riserva for special occasions or to meditate with.

A dry red wine from the native Puglia grape Negroamaro. The sunny Salento is the best place for Negromaro. The Cantolio estate producing excellent Primitivos has also outstanding Negroamaros in the range. The name „Vero”, meaning real reflects genuine merits of the wine defined by the name of the grape. „Negro”, its almost black color, and „amaro” its characteristic bitter aftertaste. In fact it looks and tastes so. Rich, strong and concentrated, uniquely velvety and warm. A savory wine.
