A dry red wine of the autochthonous Dolcetto grape variety of Piemonte. The name comes from the Italian word dolce, sweet, but it does not reffer to the variety of wine, because this is slightly dry. It was rather named after natural sweetnes of the Dolcetto grapes. As a result of its lightness this wine is especially enjoyed by the ladies, besides it goes well with almost every dish exept heavy meals.

Barolo Sarmassa

A dry red wine made from native Piedmont grape Nebbiolo, with Lampia and Michet varieties, originating from a single vineyard called Sarmassa. The area of this zone borders the town of La Morra, characterized by the soil composed mainly of marls, so called marls of Saint Agatha, which give the wine fairly raw, but with excellent structure and great potential to age. Virna’s Barolo Sarmassa ages for 18 months in French oak barrels and casks, after that in stainless steel and for 6 months in the bottle. The 2015 vintage is considered very good as regards Barolo wines, Sarmassa will certainly maintain its potential for many years, however it’s advisable to taste it now and compare after a few years, to discover its longevity and understand its evolution.

Aroma: fresh, notes of red fruits with balsamic notes and gentle vanilla alternated.
Flavor: raw, full, rich, tannic.

Sweet dessert white wine made from indigenous Moscato variety. White Moscato of Piedmont in passito is a naturally sweet dessert wine. The grapes undergo the drying process in specially air-conditioned rooms, next follows the process of vinification. First the naturally sweet nectar of the grapes is fermented in small French oak barrels, then it is bottled. Thanks to this process, the wine takes on marked aromas and strong power.

Dry white wine made from native Sardinia grape Vermentino, from the zone of Gallura. The provinces of Olbia and Sassari in the north-eastern part of the island are characterized by mountainous areas and granite soils, big temperature differences between day and night. Therefore, the white Vermentino is well naturalized in such conditions and it‘s the only wine of Sardinia that was awarded DOCG status. Ugone III is the name of a famous Sardinian ruler, which went down in history as a brave defender of the island against the invasions of Aragonians. Compared with Na VotaIL Cavaliere is more aromatic and with expressed notes of spice. Great match with highly flavored dishes.

Hard to pronounce the word, Quendernjan, is an albanian for the lower part of Maschito, where are located vineyards yielding Aglianico’s grapes. This pink version of Basiclicata’s great wine is a well-structured, aromatic wine, strong and fine at the same time. Unique in taste, pleasantly mineral, with notes of ripe raspberry and pomegranate, gently almond in the finish. You’ll willingly reach another glass. Properly cooled it tastes best with light appetizers. Excellent with veal scallops.
