Dry red wine of native Piedmont grape Dolcetto d’Alba. The name of the grape comes from the Italian dolce, sweet, but sweetness is only a feature of grapes rather than of the wine which is made from them. Dolcetto is deeply rooted in the winemaking tradition of Piedmont and very loved by its residents. This goes well with most dishes, from hors d‘oeuvres to main courses. Dolcetto is a simple and pleasent wine to drink after the meal.

Nero di Avola

A dry red wine made from native Sicily grape Nero di Avola. It‘s the most popular red grape variety associated with the sunny island. The classic zone of cultivation is located in the mid-southern part of the island, in the province of Syracuse. Nero di Avola from the Fondo Filara range is gentle and fruity contrary to the western part where this grape gives more structured wines. This wine was aged for 6 months in small French oak barrels, barriques.

Color: intense ruby red.
Aroma: rich, notes of cherries and sweet spices.
Flavor: warm, soft, slightly tannic.
Food matching: excellent with pastas and ragù lasagna, lamb, roast and stewed meats.

Castello di Meleto

Chianti Classico Vigna Casi Riserva

A dry red wine of the autochthonous Sangiovese variety with an addition of Merlot. The name ‘Vigna Casi’ refers to a vineyard situated in the hills up to 450 meters. The indication ‘Riserva’ means the long ageing period of wine, which is used only for the best vintages. The 2005 vintage in Tuscany was good, thus the producer decided to make ‘Riserva’. The wine was aged in the proportion 50 to 50 in Slovenian oak barrels for 18 months and in French oak barriques (225l) for another 12 months, than was matured in bottle for another one year. Thanks to such a careful ageing process is crated a really great wine.

Colour: intense ruby red Aroma: fruity and floral notes of cherries, licorice, hyacinth, as derivatives of the aging tactile notes of vanilla, leather, tobacco, spices, soft tannins. Vinchio Vaglio Serra

Pancratium

Aromatized sweet wine. The special character of the wine results from the method of its production. To the grape must, obtained from Barbera grape, is added an appropriate amount of sugar and spices, including quinine, rhubarb, herbs. The name Pancratium refers to the name of the valley located between the towns of Vinchio and Vaglio, called San Pancratium - The Holy Pancrazio, who is the patron saint of winemakers associated in the cooperative. A dry red wine of Puglia‘s native grapes, Negroamaro and Black Malvasia. The Riserva version of Copertino Rosso from the 2007 vintage is obtained from a special selection of grapes aged for two years in wood. The wine justifiably won the title vino d‘eccellenza or excellent wine given by the Italian wine guide L‘Espresso in 2014. We invite you to discover this Riserva which attracts by its label as well as by potential of an indigenous and original wine.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Dry red wine from native Tuscany grape Prugnolo Gentile. It is a specific Sangiovese variety used for making Nobile wine. The name nobile in Italian noble refers to the fact that the wine was served in the past only the aristocratic tables. Is produced around the beautifully situated town of Montepulciano, around which the vineyards are located in the hills ranging from 250 to 500 m above sea level. In 1648 Italian writer Francesco Redi wrote that Montepulciano d‘ogni vino e ‘re‘ - Montepulciano is the king of all wines. Vino Nobile from our producer Lombardo was aged for almost two years in large Slovenianan and French oak barrels.

Aldo Rainoldi

Prugnolo Valtellina Superiore

Dry red wine varietal Nebbiolo. Another version of the Valtellina Superiore called Prugnolo. It is a decorative shrub with red-purple fruit that grows on the slopes of vineyards situated at an altitude of up to 600 m above sea level. Aged for 12 months in small French oak barrels, previously used for aging the noblest variety of Valtellina, called Sfursat and for the next nine months in the bottle.

Aldo Rainoldi

Cuvee Maria Vittoria Rose Nature

A dry pink sparkling wine made of native Valtelina grapes, Nebbiolo, Pignola, Rossola. A sparkler made by metodo classico or refermentation on the yeast, from the 2009 vintage, which was very good. Part of the base wine matures in small French oak barrels used for second or third time, part in stainless steel. Two parts of the wine are blended together and then begins a long and careful process of refermentation in the bottle for 60 months. Aldo Rainoldi makes excellent red wines, and this Cuvee is a lush sparkling wine made from a careful selection of grapes originating from the terraced vineyards of Valtelina situated 600 m above sea level. „Nature” is a very dry wine, elegant and solemn at the same time. On special occasions. Only 800 bottles of Cuvee is made for best vintages.

Barbera del Sannio

Dry red wine of Campanian native grape called Barbera del Sannio. It comes from vineyards located in the hill areas in the surroundings of Castelvenere, in the province of Benevento in the north-eastern part of the region. Usually associated with Piedmont, Barbera, cultivated here since two centuries, is, however, a different wine with other character than its cousin from the north. The local winegrowers proudly claim that their Barbera is much better. Indeed, is worth tasting to appreciate this pleasant wine scenting of fruit.

A dry red wine from the native Tuscan grape Sangiovese. The Riserva vintage, 2011, made from the grapes originating from a small 2ha vineyard cultivated only with Sangiovese. A unique terroir makes the wine extremely soft and fresh. In addition, the organic wine certificate guarantees natural merits of Riserva from the Chianti Colli Fiorentini subzone. Aged for almost one year in 2500 litre oak casks, great structure and rich aromas, but above all fresh and fruity notes of Sangiovese.

Malbech

A dry red wine from Malbec. This grape variety originates in France, yields quite tannic berries with intense color. Malbech from eastern Veneto is a fresh wine with gently balanced acidity and pronounced fruit notes. Not aged in wood, matured only for a few months in stainless steel tanks. It‘s a good accompaniment to many dishes, especially based on meats.
