Dry red wine of the autochthonous Barbera d‘Asti of Piedmont. This is another variety of Barbera in our range of wine from Asti region, historically regarded as the kingdom of Barbera, where its grapes give optimum results. Sori in the Piedmontese dialect means the highest and most sunny parts of the hills, the best vineyards. Mori is the term describing Saracens, with whom the inhabitants of the village of Vinchio waged struggle in the Middle Ages, so the Sori dei Mori means Saracens Hills. This wine is young and fresh, vinified only in steel tanks, not aged in wood.
