Dry white sparkling wine from the Chardonnay variety, belonging to the typology of Franciacorta. It is a type of wine whose fermentation process takes place according to the classical method of producing champagne, was used in the Champagne region in France and in the Cava region in Spain. Franciacorta is a small area located in the Lombardy region around Brescia. Thanks to the favorable climate and soil conditions the local winemakers produce highest quality sparkling wines here, mainly from Chardonnay. As a result of the fact that the time of maturation of the wine on yeasts is extremely long, from 18 to 60 months, Franciacorta is considered one of the best sparkling wines in the whole world. Monterovere

A dry red wine of Piedmont‘s native grapes, Barbera and Nebbiolo with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of the traditional local grape varieties with Cabernet is a very popular combination of wines belonging to the Monferrato DOC appellation. Barbera makes this wine raw and structured, whereas Nebbiolo elegance and ageing potential, Cabernet softens the whole, thus the wine is soft. Monterovere is one of the family‘s historic vineyards founded by Stefano Cavallero, grandfather of the present owners. Up to the present on this area gives the best grapes of Barbera, so called Cru, and the berries of other varieties too. The grapes generating this interesting wine come exactly from these vineyards. The Monterovere, reminding of ripe fruit and delicate vanilla, ages for 18 months in small French oak barrels. A wine that goes well with meat dishes or to meditate after the meal.

Anfora Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico

A dry white wine of native Marche grape Verdichio. Its classic zone of origin is Castelli di Jesi - more than ten towns located near Jesi, among which Cupramontana, the town our producer is based. The vineyards are situated 360m above sea level on the area which once was the sea. This Verdicchio version called Anfora, harvested manually, is top of the range. The characteristic bottle is closely linked with this great white wine. It was introduced in the 1950-s as the result of a competition that took place in the whole country to highlight the originality of Verdicchio.

Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections, shimmering.
Aroma: quite intense, floral and fruity, notes of acacia, mimosa, kiwi, green apple and grapefruit.
Flavor: dry, fresh, mineral, balanced.
Food matching: perfect for fish and seafood-based starters, fish-based pasta sauces, vegetables, seafood, boiled and fried fish flavored with rosemary, delicate white meats, raw ham, soft sheep cheese.

„Pensiero di Amore” Vino Passito

Sweet white wine, a passito version or obtained from dried grapes. The harvest of very ripe grapes of Incrocio Manzoni is done in the middle of September. Next the grapes are stored on wooden racks in special air-ventilated rooms. This way they lose about 30% of initial weight to accumulate sugars and aromas. The vinification done only in December results in a wine distinguished by natural sweetness and unique bouquet. The name „Pensiero d’amore” is Italian for „a gift of love” or “love thoughts”. When creating this wine the idea of Ornelia and her family was to make a gift for their friends and relatives, she wanted to appreciate them this way. It’s the only wine of this kind in the range of Ornelia Belia.

Color: yellow, amber.
Aroma: rich, notes of ripe tropical fruits, citruses, honey, vanilla.
Flavour: sweet, harmonious, balanced.
Food matching: excellent with cream desserts; a wine to meditate with, that goes well also with soft cheeses.

Azienda Vitivinicola Ornella Bellia

Lison

A dry white wine from the autochthonous Lison grape variety of Veneto. The wine is one of the Venetian Tokai varieties that in the Lison Pramaggiore zone was already awarded DOC status in 1971. It recently has been awarded to the highest quality status and belongs to the DOCG wines - controlled designation of origin guaranteed. Lison represents the territory of its origin. Very ripe grapes undergo the careful process of vinification. The wine is fermented in contact with noble remains of grapes for six months. Lison in contrast to other white Venetian wines - light and fresh, is a well structured and full-bodied wine with a pleasant fruity note.

Flavor: dry, rounded, with a delicate almond note in the finish.
Food matching: best with meals based on fish and white meats, and also good with eggs.

Cantina Colonnella

Barocco Riserva

A dry red wine of Montepulciano di Abruzzo grape. The documentary evidence of this variety dates from the XVIII century. Besides the Sangiovese it is one of the most popular red varieties in Central Italy. The Colline Teramane subzone, Italian for the hills around Teramo, was granted the DOCG status in 2003 and the quality or the wines from here is obtained thanks to the favorable microclimate and vicinity to the Adriatic Sea. An excellent 2007 vintage made it possible to create an equally good riserva made from careful selection of grapes, full-bodied and extremely fruity. It was aged in wood and for a few months in the bottle.

Aroma: rich, complex, notes of cherry, red currant, cocoa, liquorice.
Flavor: warm, soft, harmonious.

Dry red wine from native Tuscany grape Prugnolo Gentile with the addition of Merlot. This is the basic version of the noble wine Nobile, subjected to a shorter half-year aging in French oak barrels. It is thus a delicate wine, but marked by gentle fruit and good structure.

Barbaresco Montestefano Riserva

A dry red wine of the native Piedmontese Nebbiolo grape. It is a refined version of Barbaresco from the Montestefano vineyard, because Riserva is made only in the best years. Certainly the year 2006 belongs to them, as for Piemonte is qualified as an elegant, hence the choice of the manufacturer to make a wine with enhanced flavor values and strong structure. The Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano was aged in large barrels for 36 months and then in the bottle. This is a very elegant wine with deep red brilliant color that with age presents orange hues.

Vinchio Vaglio Serra

Le Nocche Grignolino d’Asti

Dry red wine made from the autochthonous Grignolino grape of Piedmont. The dialect name grignole means grape seeds and refers to the lightness of the wine and the distinctive pale red color. Wine traditionally associated with Piedmont and very popular among its residents. Italian wine expert, Luigi Veronelli, wrote of it as an anarchic wine, as the Grignolino grape is difficult to grow, responding to changing weather conditions. Its advantage is the richness of aromas and good structure, some vintages highlight their advantages after maturing a few years in the bottle.
