Dry red wine from the autochthonous Colorino grape of Tuscany. An Interesting wine obtained from the grape native to Tuscany. Colorino as the name suggests is characterized by intense color, almost ink. Therefore, it is often a supplement to other red wines, enhancing their color. This version is an excellent example of the expression of autochthonous wine.

A dry red wine of the native Puglia grape Negroamaro. Extremely pleasant wine originating from the surroundings of the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, awarded on the wine festivals (Merano wine festival edition 2014). The name Arunte refers to an Etruscan deity predicting the future with flying birds. Fruity, warm, long lasting in the mouth. Excellent as an accompaniment with beef casserole, roast lamb, beef sauces and sheep cheeses.

Castel del Mago Pinot Chardonnay Brut

Dry white sparkling wine obtained from a blend of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. This is another sparkling wine from this producer distinguished by very high quality. The category ‘Brut‘ indicates that sugar level is below 12gr/l. Prolonged fermentation makes the wine has excellent aroma qualities and flavor, with a delicate hint of yeast and bread crust.

This wine was aged for 6 months in small French oak barrels, barriques.

Cortese from Gavi combines the delicateness of Ligurian wines with structure of Piedmontese. The name Ciarea in the piedmontese dialect signifies a greeting, the word ciao.

Ca Vegar Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Dry red wine from the native Venetian grapes, Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Corvinone. It is a kind of Valpolicella Classico Superiore called Amarone. The name of the famous great Venetian wine refers to the adjective amaro, the Italian for bitter - the taste which in no way relates to the wine. The name assigned only to distinguish it from Recioto wine, a version of sweet Valpolicella. The production technique of Amarone involves drying of carefully selected ripe grapes, which after the harvest are kept in air-conditioned rooms for about 120 days. These grapes are placed on special nets and after such a long time the sugar content they accumulated reaches its maximum. Then follows the phase of wine fermentation and aging in wood for over two years. Amarone is a wonderful, long-lived wine. It should be saved for special occasions and enjoyed as a wine for meditation.

Color: intense dark garnet.

Aroma: intense, aromatic, notes of fruit in alcohol, sweet spices.

Flavor: warm, velvety.

Food matching: dishes based on meat, roast meat, game, seasoned cheeses.

Chianti Rufina Riserva

Dry red wine made from native Tuscany grapes Sangiovese and Colorino. Another Chianti from the sub-zone Rufina made by Dreolino, this, however, is a reserve Chianti Rufina of the 2016 year. A strong and concentrated wine, that matures for 2 years in small oak barrels called barriques. Reminding of ripe red fruits, full and elegant taste, with long finish. Like all the other Riservas is made only in the best vintages, so it will taste good even after a few years. Best with game: boar, pheasant, hare or long seasoned cheeses.

This international grape variety is often associated with barrel-aged wines, scenting and reminding of dull vanilla. Muri Gries' Chardonnay differs radically from these aged in wood. This is crystal clear, with aromas of exotic fruits, citrus and with delicate note of dry hay.

A dry red wine made from native Piedmont grapes Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. As great fans of Piedmont we always search for wines like “Le Sorelle”, Italian for Sisters. A blend of three local grape varieties is a real pleasure to the taste, as it vary from ordinary single variety wines, which, however, are considered the most noble. A very approachable wine, rich in fruit, with gentle acidity and consistence. Aged for 3 months in big oak casks. Certainly a well done wine of Virna and Ivana sisters.
